Can you tell us a little bit about yourself for anyone who might not be familiar? What first inspired you to start singing and getting involved in the arts?

I'm a songwriter, singer, actor, dancer. I've been really fortunate that I have been able to pursue an artistic career and have performed on Broadway, the Hollywood Bowl and concert halls all over. I have also got to be part of some really cool projects on the acting side. I was the voice of "Young Tigress" in “Kung Fu Panda-Secrets of the Scroll” (which is on Netflix if you want to check it out... hehe.)

I think my grandpa first inspired me. He taught me the piano when I was 2. I was always really interested in singing, acting and being creative and my family picked up on that and put me into lessons.

As someone who has multiple artistic outlets, from singing and performing to acting, how do you feel that they’re connected or relate to one another?

With both you are being creative, just in different ways. I love doing all of it because you get to still be creative but use different parts of yourself.

You’ve already had a pretty busy year with the release of “Meet Me on Mars” and the recent acoustic version of the song. What has been the highlight of your year so far?

Releasing “Mars” has definitely been a huge highlight so far! We shot it in LA with a great crew, great dance crew, and choreographer Sam Allen.  I have always wanted to incorporate dancing into one of my videos and it was perfect for this song.  You can join us on our first dance party to Mars here!

What does “Meet Me On Mars” mean to you? What’s the story behind it?

“Meet Me on Mars” is a love story with the idea that Mars is a place where everyone can go and be anything you want with anyone you want. It’s a fresh start with no one there to judge you… It’s a place where you can be your best self.

What would you like fans to take away from “Meet Me on Mars”?

Oh wow, I hope it makes them want to get up and dance! The best part of doing music is affecting people in positive way.

With “Meet Me on Mars” out now, could fans expect more new music before the summer or 2018 comes to an end?

We just released "Meet me on Mars" and the acoustic version of "Meet me on Mars" so right now I am happily busy promoting this single :) But yes, we do have another song that might get released in the Fall. Stay tuned :)

Do you have any other big plans for the rest of the year?

Yes! I’ll be playing more shows, so please check out my socials for my touring dates and more news coming soon. We also have a collaboration with someone really cool coming up and can’t wait to share it with everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to chat with us! Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Yes, I want to do a shout out to Elon Musk - Meet Me on Mars! Thank you, guys, for all your support!! XOT
