Can you tell us a little bit about yourself for anyone who might be hearing your music for the first time?

I am a singer-songwriter and actress in Los Angeles.  I do pop music with a reggae flair and hints of Hip-Hop.

In addition to music, you’re also an actress - do you feel that the two creative outlets feed off of each other at all? How do you feel they relate to one another?

I feel that one art can inspire the other.  Music can put me in a mood to get in the zone for a role.  It wouldn’t be unusual for me to listen to music on set.  It totally gets me in the right place.  When I’m recording a song I’m all about the emotions.  To me communicating the emotions of the song is the most important part.

In 2018, you celebrated the release of a few new singles, most recently, “Dangerous.” What was the highlight of your 2018?

I’m so thankful for the fan support and the encouragement I’ve received for my recent singles.  It was a nice surprise.

How do you feel you’ve grown as a songwriter and artist in the last year?

I’ve written so many songs and really tried to hone my craft.  Practice makes better.  I’m really in tune with the type of music I want to do.  And the hours and hours of time in the vocal booth has been a wonderful period of growth and finding my voice.

Can you tell us about “Dangerous”? What inspired the song?

I wanted to do something pop but with a throwback feel – something ‘90s influenced.  I’ve never done anything like that.  I wanted to keep the lyrics vague, dark and ominous.

Did you have any goals in mind when you first started working on “Dangerous”?

I love super-catchy songs and Max Martin’s work, so I looked to be inspired by that.

With “Dangerous” out now, can fans expect to hear any more new music soon?

Yes, I have a lot of songs I’ve been finishing in the studio.  I can’t wait to share them with everyone.  I’m having so much fun writing songs and recording them, especially the creative part of the writing and producing.

Do you have any other big plans for 2019?

I’m looking at publishing options and distribution.  I’m recording songs to be pitched around to other artists.  I’m really excited about that.
