Stick To Your Guns has announced dates for their annual holiday charity shows dubbed “Keeping Warm In A Cold World IV.” The band will perform 4 intimate shows along the west coast in December.
A portion of proceeds from the “Keeping Warm In A Cold World IV” shows will be donated to The Wildlife Defence League, which is an organization charged with the mission to conserve and defend the forests and their inhabitants from destruction of habitat and trophy hunting. “This year we have decided to give the proceeds of “Keeping Warm In A Cold World IV” to our friends in The Wildlife Defence League,” says vocalist Jesse Barnett. “You don’t have to be vegan to understand the importance of what they do. These brave men and women put themselves on the line in hopes to retain and respect the lives of these animals of which are so important to our continued existence. To continue down this path we are going and to allow the slaughter of apex predators that are so important to our ecosystem is detrimental to our planet and everything on it. I fully support Tommy Knowles and The Wildlife Defense League and we hope that this support can help him and his team continue their not only important but necessary work. We need more big picture thinkers and less impulse addicts.”
Today’s news comes on the heels of Stick To Your Guns’ recent announcement for their fifth studio album, Disobedient, which is scheduled for release on February 10th via Sumerian Records. Fans can stream the band’s first new track, “Nobody,” now athttp://youtu.be/FYrZfF9eK_k and purchase the song digitally on November 4th. Pre-orders for the record will be announced soon.
