Part-time gold prospector, full-time frontman for revered London, Ontario based punk band Single Mothers, Drew Thomson is a storytelling, folk-punk troubadour who’s spent a great amount of time in the last few years searching for treasure and writing tunes around a campfire in Northern Ontario. As a result, Thomson has crafted two incredibly raw and honest songs on his second solo EP.
Thomson’s upcoming record follows 2013’s Honesty is a Confidence Problem, which was released on Jeremy Bolm’s (Touche Amore) label Secret Voice. The new record features the song “Oxy” as well as the previously released track “Saturday Night/Sunday Morning.”
