Ignite has announced they have officially entered the studio to begin work on their new album and will be heading to Europe this summer for a tour. Dates are listed below.
Ignite is currently in the studio tracking songs for the record with producer Cameron Webb (Alkaline Trio, Strung Out), who also worked on their last record Our Darkest Days (Century Media Records), at Maple Sound Studios in Orange County, CA.
“Teaming up with Cameron Webb again is the perfect situation for Ignite and for this album,” says bassist Brett Rasmussen. “We have a level of trust and respect for each other that has come from years of working together. He is basically a member of the band at this point.”
This will be the band’s first full-length studio album since 2006’s Our Darkest Days and first since singer Zoli Teglas’ departure as vocalist for Pennywise. A record label has not been announced yet for the upcoming release.
Ignite will also be heading out in the U.S. and Europe this summer for festivals and club shows. Confirmed tour dates are listed below and more tour dates will be announced soon.
