Sargent House is excited to present their second annual Fall Tour lineup for 2014 featuring TTNG (formerly This Town Needs Guns) with direct support to be traded off each night between Mylets and Emma Ruth Rundle. The tour will kick off on October 20th in Santa Ana, CA and will canvas North America, with stops in Montreal and Toronto, through November 22nd where it ends in Los Angeles. These three bands are a small sampling of the extensive Sargent House roster – check out the full tour routing below.
TTNG hail from Oxford, England and have always been known for walking a tightrope line between pop melody and technical precision. The band released 13.0.0.0.0. last year via Sargent House, which can be streamed now in full here. Joining TTNG on the road are label mates Mylets, the one-man-band helmed by guitarist extraordinaire Henry Kohen. Mylets recently wrapped recording his debut full-length that is scheduled for release through Sargent House early next year. His current release, Retcon is an album culled from his 3 EPs all recorded before the age of 17 was released by Sargent House in 2013 and can be heard here. Splitting opening duties with Mylets is the stunning Emma Ruth Rundle, who released her debut solo album Some Heavy Ocean earlier this summer to great critical acclaim. Her music video for the single “Arms I Know So Well” just premiered on NPR and she’s joining up with the Sargent House Tour fresh off of a full-US tour with King Buzzo of The Melvins as well as shows with herother Sargent House band Marriages and label mates Boris.
More news and additions for the Sargent House Fall Tour 2014 are coming soon. Tickets for all shows below will be on sale by Friday, Sept 12th.
