Vanna Covers The Offspring's "Self Esteem"

Post-hardcore outfit VANNA recently made headlines with the announcement of their upcoming covers EP called ALT, which features a monster version of Marilyn Manson’s “The Beautiful People” and is being released on October 2nd via Pure Noise Records. Now they’ve debuted another new song from the record; this time they take aim at The Offspring’s classic punk anthem “Self Esteem.”

"This song and album was my soundtrack to bombing around my town on my skateboard and getting kicked out of my favorite spots by stuffy, boring "adults”," says frontman Davey Muise. “The Offspring opened me up to a whole new world of punk that was so catchy. I'd be humming the tune while sitting down to dinner and thinking about the next time I could skate."

In addition to covers of Marilyn Manson and The Offspring, Vanna’s upcoming ALT EP will feature tributes to The Smashing Pumpkins, Korn and Metallica, which will be unveiled as the weeks lead up to the record’s release onOctober 2nd.
