Touché Amoré have shared their poignant and personal video for “Benediction” from their latest release Stage Four.
Directed by Sean Stout of TerroreyesTV, “Benediction” follows lead singer Jeremy Bolm as he visits his mother’s Nebraskan hometown for the first time since her funeral. Bolm’s mother passed away from cancer in 2014, and Bolm traveled to Norfolk in an effort to explore where she grew up and feel more connected to her. Bleak but beautiful, the “Benediction” video documents his wanderings through empty playgrounds, deserted roads, and abandoned homes, ultimately ending at his mother’s grave.
