Progressive metal act, Greyhaven have released the new video for their single “Sweet Machine” today. “Sweet Machine” is one of the standout tracks amongst the many blistering metal anthems on their highly-acclaimed latest full-length, Empty Black.
“Sweet Machine” kicks in without regard for anyone in the immediate vicinity, jumping between heavy grooves and creeping melodies. The video portrays vocalist Brent Mills fighting a losing battle against technology and a mess of wires. Speaking on the video, Mills (vocals) says:
“The song is about recognizing you’re pulled into the system in some fashion whether you like it or not. Somewhere down the line you’re a link in the chain. So we just had fun with this concept in the video, trying to create dreamlike representations of these ideas and here it is, the sweet machine.”
The band will close out their year of high profile tours by supporting Stray From The Path and Silent Planet on a full run of the United States this fall.
