“I had myself convinced that Daisyhead was the only significance to my existence. I felt this way for years. When the band fell apart, I was in London, wondering how to move forward on my own. I realized that I couldn’t, and it was time to take a breather, and find meaning for myself. I never wanted to admit my weakness enough to actively seek therapy, but I didn’t have another choice. “Making Me Feel Safe” is a testimony to my journey through therapy and self reinvention.”
Hope For The Day is an entity that directly correlates with what this band is currently all about, which is mental health education and suicide prevention. I’m very excited to be working with a non-profit that has such a passion for fighting against the stigma that it isn’t okay to have mental health issues. No one deserves to feel weak or embarrassed by that.” – Michael Roe
