PREMIERE: Pvrception Shares New Single, "All Day In Bed"
Eclectic trap-rock artist Pvrception has released his new single and accompanying video for “All Day In Bed” today. The track, which can be heard now below follows “Nightly,” released earlier this year.
Of the new track, Pvrception said, “All Day In Bed, the closing track to the Poison Tongue Boy EP, is an art of true pessimism. In bringing this track to life, I was simply in a state of deep depression. After failing to write several times within the day, with no amount of substance aiding my creativity, I took a midday nap of almost 3 hours in defeat. After awaking I felt like complete shit for producing basically nothing, and spending the entire day in bed. In hopes of just getting out any creative energy at all, I pulled up a random organ sound and starting jamming on the keys. Somehow in between this moment and the end of the night I brought to fruition a song that described my mental state with dangerous accuracy. In that moment I truly did not emotionally belong to this world anymore and felt nothing more than a deep desire to disappear. "All Day In Bed" is a story in which I considered what it may look like to seek out professional help, and in the same breath, doubted myself and any process that claimed to have the answers. All of this wrapped up in a dark brooding composition, is the final sounds of the Poison Tongue Boy EP.”
