Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Allan Rayman has released his new musical project, Harry Hard-On, out today via Republic Records. Get it HERE and listen to it now below. The new album is produced by Andrew Dawson (Daytona [Pusha T], My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy [Kanye West]) and executive produced by Moose. The album marks Rayman’s debut on Alex da Kid’s label, KIDindaKorner. The mysterious artist will be spending the rest of the year headlining a European tour, a list of dates is below.
Harry Hard-On mixes elements of 80’s rock and that familiar 90’s grunge sound Rayman utilized throughout his earlier projects; Courtney EP and Roadhouse 01 long-player, with R&B and hip-hop influence present throughout the album. The 9-track body of work weaves in and out of anthems and ballads alike, with the lead single, “Rose”, shaping the storyline by exploring the dark side of fandom with the idea that no matter how big or small an artist is, you never know who is in the audience. The video for the single was directed by Steph Verschuren, who previously collaborated with Rayman on the video for his 2017 hit “Word of Mouth” and “Go My Way,” premiered on Clash Magazine in October and can be viewed can be viewed HERE.
Rayman’s career is quickly rising, garnering over 100 million streams for tantalizing early releases on Ben Lovett’s Communion Records, headlining tours and performing at renowned festivals across North America. The singer/songwriter continues to receive praise from critics and peers alike, including Pigeons and Planes who wrote, “with a distinct singing voice and the ability to craft vivid imagery with his lyrics, Allan Rayman is worth paying close attention to.”
