Nashville pop/rock band COIN have released their new song “Cemetery.” Listen to the track now below. “Cemetery” follows COIN’s recent release, “Simple Romance,” which was produced by Mark Foster and Isom Innis (Foster the People) and has already hit over 700K streams on Spotify. Both tracks will be featured on band’s forthcoming, third studio album out in 2019 on Columbia Records.
In addition, the band announced that they will be headlining The Wiltern in Los Angeles on March 1st, 2019. Tickets are on sale now, purchase here.
“When I started to write ‘Cemetery’ we had just come off of our first headlining tour,” said frontman Chase Lawrence. “I spent two months staring at a life-size tombstone (a set prop from our album cover). I had never been away from my family for such a period of time. Walking through my front door was surreal. My nephew was born, my friends were newlyweds, and my favorite restaurant closed. Soon, I realized I had to identify what mattered most. I was so focused on the future that I lost sight of what was right in front of me.”
These new releases follow the success of the band’s sophomore album, How Will You Know If You Never Try. The 11-track album features COIN’s widely-popular songs “I Don’t Wanna Dance,” Alternative Radio hit “Talk Too Much,” and stripped-down ballad “Malibu 1992.”
