Indie folk-rock duo Owen-Glass have released their new music video "Here It Comes" off their upcoming debut album The Rope & The Rabbit, which is set to drop on May 10th. Moody and compelling, "Here It Comes" is a fascinating statement on the anxiety that overexposure to the media stirs up inside us while also serving as an examination of the ebb and flow of war and peace, anxiety and contentment, and dissatisfaction and satisfaction.

Watch the video now below.

Of the video, the band said, "The video serves to complement the song and drive home the point that a lot of this anxiety comes from our obsession with the media. The way we get our news has evolved, but it really started in the early days of radio, and I think more so with the early days of TV. Everything, everywhere became real to us, and that has its own set of pros and cons. We have the opportunity to foster understanding, empathy and solidarity with regular people around the world, but we’re also much more easily manipulated into passively supporting some really terrible things."

Based in Texas, Owen-Glass delivers a larger than life sound, weaving in the heartfelt organic glory of Americana and the powerful charge of gospel while boasting the drama of wild rock violin, grand alto saxophone, '70s-style keys, and electric mandolin. Fortified by rich textured soundscapes and smart lyrics, the end result is soul-enamoring, compelling, and easy to listen to.
